Yes, and this is the one thing that stops a sale. Turn off Find My and sign out of iCloud before you come in. A device still locked to an Apple ID cannot be resold by anyone, so we cannot buy it until it is cleared.
It does, but less than people expect. We replace batteries ourselves, so a low percentage costs you a grade rather than the sale.
Yes, and it is the single most common reason a sale stalls at the counter. Settings, your name, Find My, Find My iPhone, off. A phone still signed into an Apple Account cannot be activated by anybody else, so it has no resale value until that is done.
It matters what was fitted. A genuine or good-quality panel makes very little difference. A poor aftermarket screen or one showing the parts and service message does, because we would replace it before reselling.
Usually, at the working grade, as long as it powers on and the touch still responds. It is also worth asking what the repair costs first, because a repaired device is often worth more than the difference.
