Most phone screen and battery repairs are finished in 15 to 45 minutes while you wait. Board-level and water damage work is assessed first and quoted before we begin.
That confirms the panel rather than the graphics, which is the cheaper of the two. Laptop panels are a straightforward replacement on most models once we have matched the exact part, and we check that before you leave it with us.
That is usually the battery, sometimes the charging circuit and occasionally just the charger. All three are worth checking before buying anything, and the diagnostic is free.
Often, and cheaply. Moving a machine that still has a mechanical hard drive onto an SSD and adding memory is the single biggest change you can make to an older laptop, and it costs a lot less than replacing it.
No. These are hardware repairs and we do not open, copy or erase anything on the device. Back it up first anyway, because any device that already has a fault can fail further while it is being worked on.
Bring it in and we do it again at no cost, for 360 days from the repair, on the part and the workmanship both. That does not cover new accidental damage, which we will always be straight with you about.
360 days on parts and workmanship. If the same fault comes back and it was not caused by new damage, we repair it again at no cost. Accidental damage, liquid damage after the repair and cracked glass are not covered.
Walk in. We are at 4 Richmond Road, Drumcondra, Dublin 3, open Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 5pm. Closed Sunday. You can also book online and we will confirm a slot, or ask us to collect the device anywhere in Dublin, Monday to Friday.
You pay nothing. No fix, no fee covers the diagnostic and the handling, so the only time you pay is when the device comes back working. If a repair turns out to cost more than the device is worth, we tell you that instead of doing it.
