Getting it here

Collection, mail in, or walk in.

Walk in and wait, have it collected from your door, or send it in yourself. The repair, the price and the 360-day warranty are identical on all three; the only thing that changes is how the device travels.

Walk in to Drumcondra.

4 Richmond Road, Dublin 3, five minutes off Drumcondra Road and a short walk from the Clonliffe Road stops. No appointment, no calling ahead. Bring the device to the counter and we look at it in front of you.

Most phone screen and battery repairs are done in 15 to 45 minutes while you wait. You get the fault confirmed and the price agreed before anything is opened, and if the answer turns out to be that the repair is not worth doing, you hear that too and pay nothing.

This is the fastest route by a distance and it is the one we recommend if you can get here. Everything else on this page exists because not everybody can.

  • Mon to Sat 10:00 to 18:00, closed Sunday
  • No booking needed for any repair
  • Free diagnostic, and no fee at all if we cannot fix it
  • Most phone screens and batteries done while you wait
  • Booking online just means the part is out of the drawer before you arrive

We collect it, and bring it back.

Dublin collection and return, Monday to Friday. You book, we arrange the courier, the device comes to the bench and goes back to the address you gave us. You do not need to be at home for the whole day; you give us a window.

Allow two to four working days door to door. The repair itself takes exactly as long as it would at the counter; the courier is the entire difference. If a part has to be ordered we tell you that when we quote, not when the van is already booked.

The price is the same as walking in and so is the warranty. What you are paying for with your time is not having to cross the city twice.

  • Dublin only, Monday to Friday
  • Two to four working days door to door
  • Same repair price and the same 360-day warranty
  • You approve the price before any work starts, the same as at the counter
  • Business and school collections are arranged separately and can be scheduled

Or send it in yourself.

If you are outside Dublin, or you would rather use your own courier, post it to 4 Richmond Road, Drumcondra, Dublin 3. Put your name, your number and one line about what the device is doing in the box, because a device that arrives with no note waits until somebody works out whose it is.

Use a tracked and insured service, and pack it properly: the device in something rigid, padding on all six sides, and the box taped rather than folded shut. We are honest about the limit here. Once it is in the post it is between you and your courier, and we cannot cover it in transit. That is the trade-off for the route being available at all.

We confirm it has landed, quote you before we touch it, and send it back the way you asked. Everything else works exactly as it does for a device carried through the door.

  • Send to: iMEND, 4 Richmond Road, Drumcondra, Dublin 3
  • Include your name, phone number and what the device is doing
  • Use a tracked, insured service. We cannot cover a parcel in transit
  • Back up first if the device still switches on
  • Message us on 085 200 1155 before you post so we know to expect it

What does not change, whichever route.

The price. A screen is the same price posted, collected or carried in, and there is no surcharge for the courier being involved.

The 360-day warranty, on the part and on the workmanship. It is the same cover on a device that arrived by van as on one handed over the counter.

And no fix, no fee. If we cannot repair it there is nothing to pay, including for the diagnostic, on any of the three routes.

Asked all the time

Not at the moment. The courier run is Dublin, Monday to Friday. If you are further out, post it in with a tracked service and it is treated exactly the same when it arrives.

Two to four working days door to door. The repair itself is the usual 15 to 45 minutes for a phone screen or battery; the rest is the courier at each end.

No. The repair price is the same on all three routes and so is the warranty.

We stop and call you with the cause and the price. Nothing extra gets done and charged for without you saying yes, and that is true whether you are standing at the counter or at the other end of a phone.

Yes, if it still switches on. A repair does not touch your storage, but a device that has already been dropped is one whose storage has already been shaken, and a backup costs nothing.

Yes, and plenty of people do. Tell us when you send it and we will hold it at the counter for you.

Yes. Post it to 4 Richmond Road, Drumcondra, Dublin 3 with a tracked, insured service and a note with your name, number and what the device is doing. We confirm it has landed, quote before we touch it, and send it back the way you asked.

Yes, Monday to Friday, door to door across Dublin. You book, we arrange the courier, and it is two to four working days end to end. The repair price and the 360-day warranty are the same as walking in.
