The Apple Watch SE (2nd gen) came out in 2022, with a 40 mm or 44 mm Retina OLED, not always-on display and the S8 SiP chip. It charges on a magnetic charging puck and it unlocks with a passcode, or from a paired iPhone. There is an aluminium frame, and it is rated 50 metres water resistant. The screen goes dark when your wrist is down rather than staying on, and the case is the older 40 or 44 mm size with a wider bezel. Aluminium only. A2722 is the model sold here.
