That is the microphone, which is a different part. Sound you cannot hear is the earpiece or the loudspeaker. Tell us which way round it is and we will know where to look, though the diagnostic confirms it either way.
Often that is dirt rather than a fault. Speaker mesh packs with pocket lint and it deadens the sound gradually enough that you do not notice until it is bad. A clean is quick and cheap, and we try that before quoting for a part.

Yes, anywhere in Dublin, Monday to Friday. Tell us where you are and we arrange a time. Outside Dublin we are not set up for collection, so the device would need to come to the shop.
For most screen and battery work, 15 to 45 minutes, and people wait in the shop. Anything that has to come apart further, or that we want to run for a while before handing back, we tell you the day rather than guess at an hour.

360 days on parts and workmanship. If the same fault comes back and it was not caused by new damage, we repair it again at no cost. Accidental damage, liquid damage after the repair and cracked glass are not covered.
For common faults on common models, yes, and the price is on the page you are reading. For anything with no clear symptom, liquid damage especially, nobody can price it honestly without opening it, so we do that for free first.
