The Apple Watch Series 8 came out in 2022, with a 41 mm or 45 mm Always-On Retina LTPO OLED display and the S8 SiP chip. It charges on a magnetic charging puck and it unlocks with a passcode, or from a paired iPhone. There is an aluminium or stainless steel frame, and it is rated IP6X and 50 metres water resistant. The first Watch with a temperature sensor and crash detection. It is the same shape as a Series 7 and a Series 9, so the number on the case back is what decides the part. Ireland gets the A2770.

Any passcode you give us goes on the paper docket and the docket gets shredded. It is never stored in our system.
Back the phone up before any repair. Not because we expect to lose anything, but because a phone that has already been dropped is a phone whose storage has already been shaken, and a backup costs nothing.

A manufacturer's IP68 rating is measured on a brand new, factory sealed device under controlled laboratory conditions. It is not a permanent property of the device. The seal degrades with age, heat and everyday knocks long before anybody opens it.
Opening a phone means cutting through that seal. We refit the display with fresh adhesive, which restores a physical seal and keeps ordinary splashes and rain out. What we will not do is tell you it is back to IP68, because we have no way to test that and neither does any independent shop in Ireland.
If your phone lives near water, say so when you book and we will talk you through what the adhesive does and does not cover.
Every completed repair is covered for 360 days on the part and the workmanship. If the display we fitted fails, or the fitting was at fault, we put it right at no charge.
What it does not cover is a new accident. A phone dropped again after the repair, fresh physical damage, liquid damage, or a fault in a part we did not touch, all sit outside it. That is the same limit any honest repair warranty has.

Usually, yes. Ghost touch is normally a failing digitiser, which is part of the display assembly, so a replacement resolves it. Tell us if it only happens while charging, because that points at the charger rather than the phone and would save you the repair.
Bring it in for the free diagnostic rather than booking a screen. A black display on a phone that still rings is usually the screen or its connector. A black display on a phone that is completely dead is a different problem, and we would rather find that out before you pay for a panel.
That depends on the grade you choose and we tell you which one is going in before you agree. A genuine service part where one exists for your model, otherwise a premium aftermarket panel. The 360-day warranty is the same either way, and we will not describe a part as original when it is not.
Several manufacturers pair the panel to the board, so a replacement can show a notice in settings even when the repair is sound and everything works. It is a parts message, not a fault, and we tell you if your model does it before we start.
