The iPhone 12 Pro Max arrived in 2020, with a 6.7 inch Super Retina XDR OLED display and the A14 Bionic chip. Charging is over Lightning and it unlocks with Face ID. It is rated IP68. A manufacturer's IP68 rating is measured on a brand new, factory sealed device under controlled laboratory conditions. It is not a permanent property of the device. The seal degrades with age, heat and everyday knocks long before anybody opens it.
Opening a phone means cutting through that seal. We refit the display with fresh adhesive, which restores a physical seal and keeps ordinary splashes and rain out. What we will not do is tell you it is back to IP68, because we have no way to test that and neither does any independent shop in Ireland.
If your phone lives near water, say so when you book and we will talk you through what the adhesive does and does not cover.
Every completed repair is covered for 360 days on the part and the workmanship. If the display we fitted fails, or the fitting was at fault, we put it right at no charge.
What it does not cover is a new accident. A phone dropped again after the repair, fresh physical damage, liquid damage, or a fault in a part we did not touch, all sit outside it. That is the same limit any honest repair warranty has.

There is nothing to gain by waiting. The glass and the display are bonded together on an OLED panel, so a crack sitting on the surface today is sitting on the display layer as it spreads. The repair does not get cheaper and the phone gets less usable.
Usually, yes. Ghost touch is normally a failing digitiser, which is part of the display assembly, so a replacement resolves it. Tell us if it only happens while charging, because that points at the charger rather than the phone and would save you the repair.

On a handful of older models, yes, where the glass and the display are separate layers. On everything current they are bonded, and splitting them is a gamble with your display that we are not willing to take with somebody else's phone.
