The iPhone 13 Pro Max arrived in 2021, with a 6.7 inch Super Retina XDR OLED with ProMotion display and the A15 Bionic chip. Charging is over Lightning and it unlocks with Face ID. It is rated IP68. The largest 13, with three cameras in a square, a stainless steel frame and the first iPhone screen to run at 120Hz. Ireland gets the A2643.

Repair it first. A working phone gives up its data far more easily and cheaply than a dead one.

Be prepared for the answer to be no. We will say so plainly rather than charging you to find out slowly.
IfIt still powers on at all
Start there. A device that boots, even badly, is far more likely to give its data up than one that does not.
IfThe screen is broken but the device works
Often the simplest case of all. A working device with a dead display can usually be read once it can be seen.
IfThe account password is not known
Say so before we start. There are limits to what anybody can do with a device nobody can sign into, and it is better to know that up front.
If you are not sure which of these you have, that is what the free diagnostic is for. It costs nothing and it is the step that stops people paying for the wrong repair.
What parts do we fit?
Two tiers, and you choose knowing which is which: a genuine Apple service part where one is made for this component, or premium aftermarket where none is. The warranty is 360 days on either.
The words genuine and Apple certified mean something specific and we only use them when they are true of the part in front of us. Anything else is described as premium aftermarket, plainly.

What happens to what is on it?
Nothing about this repair requires reading what is on the device, and nobody here does.
Testing is a different matter. To prove a repair works we have to turn the device on and use it, which sometimes means asking for your passcode. Say no if you prefer and we will show you exactly which checks we cannot complete without it. Where you do give it, it is written on the paper docket and the docket is shredded. There is deliberately no field for a passcode in our system.
Take a backup before you come in. It is free, it takes two minutes on a device that still works, and it is the one thing nobody regrets having done.
Will it still survive a splash?
Treat the phone as no longer water resistant after any repair, including ours.
Apple's IP68 rating is measured on a brand new, factory sealed phone under controlled laboratory conditions. It is not a permanent property of the device. The seal degrades with age, heat and everyday knocks long before anybody opens it.
Opening a phone means cutting through that seal. We refit the display with fresh adhesive, which restores a physical seal and keeps ordinary splashes and rain out. What we will not do is tell you it is back to IP68, because we have no way to test that and neither does any independent shop in Ireland.
If your phone lives near water, say so when you book and we will talk you through what the adhesive does and does not cover.
The 360-day warranty
Every completed repair is covered for 360 days on the part and the workmanship. If the display we fitted fails, or the fitting was at fault, we put it right at no charge.
What it does not cover is a new accident. A phone dropped again after the repair, fresh physical damage, liquid damage, or a fault in a part we did not touch, all sit outside it. That is the same limit any honest repair warranty has.
No fix, no fee. The diagnostic is free, and if the repair does not happen you pay nothing.

- Send it in yourselfPost it to the shop with a tracked, insured service and a note with your number. We cannot cover a parcel in transit, and that is the honest trade-off for the route existing.
