The iPhone 14 Pro Max arrived in 2022, with a 6.7 inch Super Retina XDR OLED with ProMotion display and the A16 Bionic chip. It charges over Lightning and it unlocks with Face ID. It is rated IP68. The larger of the two 14 Pro models: a stainless steel frame that shows fingerprints, three cameras in a square, the Dynamic Island cut-out, and a Lightning port on the bottom. The panel the phone left the factory with. True Tone and the brightness curve are exactly as they were, and there is no parts notice in settings. It costs the most and on a newer phone it is often the right answer.

We do need to switch the phone on and use it to test the repair, so we may ask for your passcode. If you would rather not hand it over, tell us and we will show you what we cannot verify without it. Any passcode you give us goes on the paper docket and the docket gets shredded. It is never stored in our system.
Back the phone up before any repair. Not because we expect to lose anything, but because a phone that has already been dropped is a phone whose storage has already been shaken, and a backup costs nothing.
Treat the phone as no longer water resistant after any repair, including ours.
A manufacturer's IP68 rating is measured on a brand new, factory sealed device under controlled laboratory conditions. It is not a permanent property of the device. The seal degrades with age, heat and everyday knocks long before anybody opens it.
Opening a phone means cutting through that seal. We refit the display with fresh adhesive, which restores a physical seal and keeps ordinary splashes and rain out. What we will not do is tell you it is back to IP68, because we have no way to test that and neither does any independent shop in Ireland.
If your phone lives near water, say so when you book and we will talk you through what the adhesive does and does not cover.
Every completed repair is covered for 360 days on the part and the workmanship. If the display we fitted fails, or the fitting was at fault, we put it right at no charge.
What it does not cover is a new accident. A phone dropped again after the repair, fresh physical damage, liquid damage, or a fault in a part we did not touch, all sit outside it. That is the same limit any honest repair warranty has.

There is nothing to gain by waiting. The glass and the display are bonded together on an OLED panel, so a crack sitting on the surface today is sitting on the display layer as it spreads. The repair does not get cheaper and the phone gets less usable.

No, and that is the reason we ask which model you have before quoting. Panels differ by size, by technology and by how the biometric sensor is mounted, and a screen from the closest-looking sibling will not fit.
