The MacBook Air (M2) came out in 2022, which puts it in the range where a single repair usually buys years rather than months. A screen or a battery costs a fraction of a replacement handset, and you keep everything already set up on it.
On most MacBooks the keyboard is riveted into the top case, so replacing it means the top case assembly. It is a bigger job than it sounds and we will quote it plainly. On older models and on most Windows laptops the keyboard comes out on its own.
Bring it in without turning it on. Liquid under a keyboard runs down into the board, and the keys are usually the least of it. The sooner it is opened and cleaned, the more likely it is that the keyboard is the only thing that needs replacing.

360 days on parts and workmanship. If the same fault comes back and it was not caused by new damage, we repair it again at no cost. Accidental damage, liquid damage after the repair and cracked glass are not covered.
