It can be either, because on most phones the front camera sits in the screen assembly. That is why we diagnose before quoting: replacing a screen to fix a camera fault, or the reverse, is an expensive way to find out.
You pay nothing. No fix, no fee covers the diagnostic and the handling, so the only time you pay is when the device comes back working. If a repair turns out to cost more than the device is worth, we tell you that instead of doing it.
Yes, anywhere in Dublin, Monday to Friday. Tell us where you are and we arrange a time. Outside Dublin we are not set up for collection, so the device would need to come to the shop.
Walk in. We are at 4 Richmond Road, Drumcondra, Dublin 3, open Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 5pm. Closed Sunday. You can also book online and we will confirm a slot, or ask us to collect the device anywhere in Dublin, Monday to Friday.
No. These are hardware repairs and we do not open, copy or erase anything on the device. Back it up first anyway, because any device that already has a fault can fail further while it is being worked on.
No. The diagnostic is free whether you go ahead with the repair or not, and that is true for the quick check at the counter and the longer one on the bench.
Card or cash at the counter when you collect. You get a firm price before any work starts, and it does not change unless we find something else and you agree to it first.
Yes. It makes no difference where a device came from, whether it was bought here, abroad or second hand. Bring it in.
360 days on parts and workmanship. If the same fault comes back and it was not caused by new damage, we repair it again at no cost. Accidental damage, liquid damage after the repair and cracked glass are not covered.
Saturday 10am to 5pm, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, closed Sunday. No appointment needed on any of those days.
