Most phone screen and battery repairs are done in 15 to 45 minutes while you wait. That is the common case and it is most of what walks through the door.
Anything that has to be diagnosed first, or needs a part we do not hold, takes longer. We tell you which of those it is at the counter, before you leave the device, rather than after.

The four things that make it longer
- The part is not on the shelf. Common models are held. An older phone, an unusual variant, or a laptop panel chosen by part number is an order-in, and then the repair takes as long as the courier does.
- The fault is not what it looked like. A screen that turns out to be a board fault is a different job at a different price, and we stop and tell you rather than pressing on.
- There is more than one thing wrong. A phone that was dropped and then went in a puddle is two repairs, and the second one cannot be assessed until the first is done.
- It has been repaired before, badly. A phone opened by somebody in a hurry often has stripped screws, torn flexes or the wrong screws in the wrong holes, and putting that right comes before the repair you came in for.
If you are waiting on it
Tell us when you book if the device is a work phone or if you need it back by a particular time. It changes the order things get done in, and it costs nothing to say.
For a collection and return across Dublin, allow 2 to 4 working days door to door. The repair itself is the same length; the courier is the difference.

For most phone screen and battery repairs, yes. Walk in to 4 Richmond Road, Drumcondra during opening hours and it is usually 15 to 45 minutes. If it is going to be longer than that we tell you before you commit.
The glass on a tablet is bonded to the frame across its whole edge rather than clipped in, so it has to be heated and cut out. It is a slower job by its nature, not a busier bench.
We tell you at the counter, give you the expected timing, and you decide then. You are not committed to anything by asking, and the diagnostic is free either way.
No. There is one price per repair and devices are worked through in the order they arrive. If something is genuinely urgent, say so and we will tell you honestly whether it can be done.
