Sometimes not. On many laptops individual keycaps and scissor mechanisms can be replaced. On MacBooks the keyboard is riveted into the top case, so a single failed key means the assembly, which is why we always check the cheap option first.
Bring it in without turning it on. Liquid under a keyboard runs down into the board, and the keys are usually the least of it. The sooner it is opened and cleaned, the more likely it is that the keyboard is the only thing that needs replacing.

Most of the time, yes, if we have the part on the shelf. That covers common iPhone and Galaxy screens and batteries. Ring ahead on 085 200 1155 with your model if you are coming across the city and want to be sure.
Yes. It makes no difference where a device came from, whether it was bought here, abroad or second hand. Bring it in.
360 days on parts and workmanship. If the same fault comes back and it was not caused by new damage, we repair it again at no cost. Accidental damage, liquid damage after the repair and cracked glass are not covered.
Yes, anywhere in Dublin, Monday to Friday. Tell us where you are and we arrange a time. Outside Dublin we are not set up for collection, so the device would need to come to the shop.
No. The diagnostic is free whether you go ahead with the repair or not, and that is true for the quick check at the counter and the longer one on the bench.
Yes, including VAT, the part, the fitting and the testing. If we find something else once we are inside, we ring you before doing anything, and you can say no and pay nothing.
