The Galaxy S24 Ultra arrived in 2024, with a 6.8 inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chip. Charging is over USB-C and it unlocks with an ultrasonic fingerprint reader under the display. It is rated IP68. The largest Galaxy, with four rear cameras, a titanium frame and the S Pen in the bottom edge. The one sold in Ireland is SM-S928B.
Cameras are the repair where software and hardware look most alike from the outside, so it is worth checking two things before booking.
If you are not sure which of these you have, that is what the free diagnostic is for. It costs nothing and it is the step that stops people paying for the wrong repair.
Two tiers, and you choose knowing which is which: a genuine Samsung service part where one is made for this component, or premium aftermarket where none is. The warranty is 360 days on either.
The words genuine and Samsung certified mean something specific and we only use them when they are true of the part in front of us. Anything else is described as premium aftermarket, plainly.
You will not find work on the bill you did not agree to. If something else shows up while the phone is open, we stop and ask rather than deciding for you.
If getting here is the problem, we collect and return across Dublin from Monday to Friday. It costs the same repair price and carries the same 360-day warranty.
Cameras are modules rather than tuned panels, so the tier gap is narrower than it is on a screen.
Original or manufacturer-grade part
The manufacturer's own module. On phones that calibrate the camera to the board this is the tier least likely to produce a notice in settings.
€210Premium aftermarket, tested to the same standard
Made to the original specification and tested before fitting. On an older phone this is usually the sensible call.
€40The €40 on this page is our standard quote for this repair. Which tier suits your device is a conversation at the counter, and the price for each is on the table before you decide. The 360-day warranty is the same on both, because we would not offer a tier we did not think would last.
Check whether it is the lens cover glass rather than the module first. That is a different and much cheaper part, and half the blurry cameras that come in here need it rather than a camera.
Two minutes online, or straight in the door at 4 Richmond Road. The more you can say about when it started, the faster we get to the cause.
Nothing is opened or ordered until we know what failed. There is no charge for this and no obligation to go ahead afterwards.
The price is confirmed to you before anything begins, and it does not move afterwards unless you agree to something else.
Carried out here in Drumcondra rather than sent away, by people who do this repair daily.
The repaired function and the things around it are checked before we call you.
Pick it up from Richmond Road or have it couriered back across Dublin. Either way it carries the 360-day warranty.
A repair is not finished when the part is fitted. It is finished when the things around it have been checked.
Close up and at distance, which is where a failing focus motor shows and a still photo of a wall does not.
A module can focus perfectly at arm's length and never lock at two metres.
Both run through the same assembly on most phones.
Recorded while walking, because that is the only way a failing stabiliser shows itself.
We are replacing a part, not reading a phone. Your photos, messages and accounts are not something this job touches.
The one place it comes up is testing. A repair is not finished until it has been used, and using a locked device means a passcode. You are welcome to withhold it, and we will tell you which checks that leaves undone rather than quietly skipping them. A passcode you do give us lives on a paper docket that gets shredded, never in a database.
Back it up first if you can. A device that has taken a knock has had its storage shaken whether or not anything looks wrong, and a backup is free insurance against the day that matters.
After any repair, ours included, work on the assumption that the device is no longer water resistant.
The rating on the box was measured once, on a sealed unit, in controlled conditions. It was never a promise about the device three years later. Adhesive hardens, seals compress and a single drop can break the seal without leaving a mark you would notice.
We reseal with fresh adhesive and it does a real job: rain, splashes and a wet counter are all fine. A submerged phone is not, and we would rather say that plainly than let you find out.
If yours goes near water regularly, say so at the counter and we will tell you what the adhesive covers and what it does not.
Every completed repair is covered for 360 days on the part and the workmanship. If the display we fitted fails, or the fitting was at fault, we put it right at no charge.
What it does not cover is a new accident. A phone dropped again after the repair, fresh physical damage, liquid damage, or a fault in a part we did not touch, all sit outside it. That is the same limit any honest repair warranty has.
No fix, no fee. The diagnostic is free, and if the repair does not happen you pay nothing.
Same repair price and the same 360-day warranty on all three. The only thing that changes is how the device travels.
€40, including the part, the fitting, the testing and the 360-day warranty. VAT is included. You get that figure confirmed before anything is opened, and if we cannot repair the phone you pay nothing.
Usually same day. If the diagnostic turns up something else, or a part has to be ordered, we tell you before you commit rather than after.
Often yes, and it is much cheaper than the module. On some models the glass is part of the rear panel and on others it is separate, so tell us which lens and we will tell you which job it is before you book.
Where a genuine manufacturer module is available for your model we fit that, and it behaves exactly as it did. Where it is not, a premium aftermarket module is very close, and we say which one is going in before you agree to it.
No. Polishing removes material and leaves the glass optically worse than the scratch did. Replacing the cover glass is the proper fix and it is not expensive.
Each lens has its own module and its own cover glass. Damage is usually to one of them rather than all, which is why we ask you to say which.
Often yes, because a camera module is one of the cheaper parts in a phone. We will tell you honestly where it is not.

Excellent customer service bought my samsung A54 best price in dublin.
As I'm a lawyer, I need a reliable phone. For me, it's an office extension in my pocket. I decided to buy a Samsung S23 Ultra. I live in Drumcondra so being aware of their excellent reputation locally, I visited iMend last week. The manager and assistant could not have been more helpful. I bought the phone and it exceeds my expectations. On checking, the price was the lowest in Dublin. Anyone who needs a phone or a small electronic product will be well looked after by iMend. Great people to deal with!

Bought a phone at imend, Drumcondra, near DCU. What could have been a difficult experience for an untechical minded person like myself was made so easy by the very helpful staff member who ensured my phone was up and running smoothly with everything working well before I left the shop.
I left my phone in to be repaired I received a price for repair which was very fair and was actually charged less when I collected the phone I was very pleased with the service and would highly recommend this shop
Excellent service, really clear explanation and itemised breakdown of the costs. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend.
