The Galaxy Z Fold 6 arrived in 2024, with a 7.6 inch inner, 6.3 inch cover Dynamic AMOLED 2X, both screens display and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chip. It charges over USB-C and it unlocks with a fingerprint reader in the side button. There is 50MP main, 12MP ultra wide and 10MP telephoto on the back and an armour aluminium frame, and it is rated IP48. Squared-off edges and a wider cover screen than the Fold 5, which makes the outer display usable as a normal phone. The one sold in Ireland is SM-F956B.

What happens to what is on it?
This is hardware work. We do not need to go into your photos, messages or accounts to do it, and we do not.
We do need to switch the device on and use it to test the repair, so we may ask for your passcode. If you would rather not hand it over, tell us and we will show you what we cannot verify without it. Any passcode you give us goes on the paper docket and the docket gets shredded. It is never stored in our system.
Back the device up before any repair. Not because we expect to lose anything, but because a device that has already been dropped is one whose storage has already been shaken, and a backup costs nothing.
Will it still survive a splash?
Treat the device as no longer water resistant after any repair, including this one.
An IP rating is measured on a brand new, factory sealed device in a laboratory. It is a description of how that device left the factory, not a property it keeps. Heat, age and everyday knocks degrade the seal long before anybody opens it, which is why phones that have never been repaired still let water in.
Opening a device means cutting through adhesive. We refit with fresh adhesive, which gives you back a physical seal that keeps rain and splashes out. What we will not do is claim the original rating is restored, because there is no way for us or for any independent shop in Ireland to test that.
If the device lives near water, tell us when you book. It changes what we recommend and it is a two minute conversation rather than a surprise afterwards.
The 360-day warranty
Every completed repair is covered for 360 days on the part and the workmanship. If the display we fitted fails, or the fitting was at fault, we put it right at no charge.
What it does not cover is a new accident. A phone dropped again after the repair, fresh physical damage, liquid damage, or a fault in a part we did not touch, all sit outside it. That is the same limit any honest repair warranty has.
No fix, no fee. The diagnostic is free, and if the repair does not happen you pay nothing.
