The iPad (8th gen) came out in 2020, with a 10.2 inch Retina LCD display and the A12 Bionic chip. Charging is over Lightning and it unlocks with Touch ID in the home button. There is an aluminium frame. A home button and a Lightning port, and a 1.2MP front camera rather than the 9th generation's 12MP one. A2270 is the model sold here.
