The iPhone 11 Pro arrived in 2019, with a 5.8 inch Super Retina XDR OLED display and the A13 Bionic chip. It charges over Lightning and it unlocks with Face ID. It is rated IP68. What a rear camera repair actually fixes.
- A rattle when the camera opensThe stabiliser has come loose. You can hear it if you shake the phone gently near your ear, and it will not settle on its own.
- The app opens to a black screenThe module is not being seen at all. Sometimes the camera, sometimes the connection to the board.
- Cracked glass over the lensesSeparate from the rear panel on most models. Fragments sit directly in the light path, which is why photos go hazy or flared.
- Spots or haze in every photoDust or moisture behind the lens. It shows worst against a bright sky.

Is it definitely the camera?
Cameras are the repair where software and hardware look most alike from the outside, so it is worth checking two things before booking.
IfPhotos are hazy but the glass looks intact
Look at the lens in a strong light for internal condensation. If there is moisture behind it this is liquid damage, and a new camera fitted into a wet phone will fog too.
IfOnly the zoom is soft and the main lens is sharp
That is the telephoto module rather than the whole array. It is a different part and usually a different price, so ask before booking the full repair.
IfIt started after a drop that also cracked the back
The camera glass and the rear panel may come as one part on your model. Ask us, because doing both together is often cheaper than doing them separately.
IfThe glass is clean and it still will not focus
The module itself. Replacement rather than a clean.
IfIt went soft after a screen repair elsewhere
The front camera sits near the display connectors and is easy to disturb. Worth checking before assuming a module failed.

What parts do we fit?
Where Apple supplies a service part for this component, that is what goes in. Where it does not, we fit premium aftermarket and say so. Which of the two you are getting is settled before you agree to anything, and the 360-day warranty does not change between them.
Nobody here will call a part original when it is not. If what fits your phone is premium aftermarket, you hear that word at the counter rather than reading it on a docket afterwards.

Check whether it is the lens cover glass rather than the module first. That is a different and much cheaper part, and half the blurry cameras that come in here need it rather than a camera.

What happens to what is on it?
This is hardware work. We do not need to go into your photos, messages or accounts to do it, and we do not.
We do need to switch the device on and use it to test the repair, so we may ask for your passcode. If you would rather not hand it over, tell us and we will show you what we cannot verify without it. Any passcode you give us goes on the paper docket and the docket gets shredded. It is never stored in our system.
Back the device up before any repair. Not because we expect to lose anything, but because a device that has already been dropped is one whose storage has already been shaken, and a backup costs nothing.
What about the water resistance?
After any repair, ours included, work on the assumption that the device is no longer water resistant.
The rating on the box was measured once, on a sealed unit, in controlled conditions. It was never a promise about the device three years later. Adhesive hardens, seals compress and a single drop can break the seal without leaving a mark you would notice.
We reseal with fresh adhesive and it does a real job: rain, splashes and a wet counter are all fine. A submerged phone is not, and we would rather say that plainly than let you find out.
If yours goes near water regularly, say so at the counter and we will tell you what the adhesive covers and what it does not.
The 360-day warranty
Every completed repair is covered for 360 days on the part and the workmanship. If the display we fitted fails, or the fitting was at fault, we put it right at no charge.
What it does not cover is a new accident. A phone dropped again after the repair, fresh physical damage, liquid damage, or a fault in a part we did not touch, all sit outside it. That is the same limit any honest repair warranty has.
No fix, no fee. The diagnostic is free, and if the repair does not happen you pay nothing.
