The iPhone 13 Pro came out in 2021, with a 6.1 inch Super Retina XDR OLED with ProMotion display and the A15 Bionic chip. Charging is over Lightning and it unlocks with Face ID. It is rated IP68. Three cameras, a stainless steel frame, a smaller notch than the 12, and no Dynamic Island. The frame gives it away against the standard 13. A2638 is the model sold here.

A diagnostic is not a repair, it is the step that stops you paying for the wrong one.

You probably do not need this. A cracked screen or a tired battery is priced on its own page and can be booked directly.

Book the liquid damage assessment instead. It is a different process and looks for different things.

Then book the repair rather than the diagnostic. There is no reason to pay for a step you do not need, and the repair price already includes the checking.
IfIt is under manufacturer warranty
Go to them first and we will tell you so. A defect inside warranty should not cost you anything anywhere.
IfIt has been in water
That is a liquid damage assessment rather than a standard diagnostic, and it is a different piece of work.
If you are not sure which of these you have, that is what the free diagnostic is for. It costs nothing and it is the step that stops people paying for the wrong repair.
What parts do we fit?
Genuine Apple service parts where they exist for the component, and premium aftermarket where they do not. You are told which one your repair uses before you agree to it, and the 360-day warranty is the same either way.
The words genuine and Apple certified mean something specific and we only use them when they are true of the part in front of us. Anything else is described as premium aftermarket, plainly.

What happens to what is on it?
Nothing about this repair requires reading what is on the device, and nobody here does.
Testing is a different matter. To prove a repair works we have to turn the device on and use it, which sometimes means asking for your passcode. Say no if you prefer and we will show you exactly which checks we cannot complete without it. Where you do give it, it is written on the paper docket and the docket is shredded. There is deliberately no field for a passcode in our system.
Take a backup before you come in. It is free, it takes two minutes on a device that still works, and it is the one thing nobody regrets having done.
What about the water resistance?
Treat the phone as no longer water resistant after any repair, including ours.
Apple's IP68 rating is measured on a brand new, factory sealed phone under controlled laboratory conditions. It is not a permanent property of the device. The seal degrades with age, heat and everyday knocks long before anybody opens it.
Opening a phone means cutting through that seal. We refit the display with fresh adhesive, which restores a physical seal and keeps ordinary splashes and rain out. What we will not do is tell you it is back to IP68, because we have no way to test that and neither does any independent shop in Ireland.
If your phone lives near water, say so when you book and we will talk you through what the adhesive does and does not cover.
The 360-day warranty
Every completed repair is covered for 360 days on the part and the workmanship. If the display we fitted fails, or the fitting was at fault, we put it right at no charge.
What it does not cover is a new accident. A phone dropped again after the repair, fresh physical damage, liquid damage, or a fault in a part we did not touch, all sit outside it. That is the same limit any honest repair warranty has.
No fix, no fee. The diagnostic is free, and if the repair does not happen you pay nothing.

- We collect and returnDoor to door across Dublin, Monday to Friday, usually 2 to 4 working days. The repair takes the same time; the courier is the difference.
- Send it in yourselfPost it to the shop with a tracked, insured service and a note with your number. We cannot cover a parcel in transit, and that is the honest trade-off for the route existing.
