The Pixel 6 arrived in 2021, with a 6.4 inch OLED display and the Google Tensor chip. It charges over USB-C and it unlocks with a fingerprint reader under the display. There is an aluminium frame, and it is rated IP68. A flat screen, a two-tone glass back and the camera bar with two lenses. Its under-display fingerprint reader is the slowest of the range and that is not a fault.

What parts do we fit?
Two tiers, and you choose knowing which is which: a genuine Google service part where one is made for this component, or premium aftermarket where none is. The warranty is 360 days on either.
Nobody here will call a part original when it is not. If what fits your phone is premium aftermarket, you hear that word at the counter rather than reading it on a docket afterwards.

Nothing is handed back untested. The repaired part and its neighbours are all checked first.

Yours again, from the counter or by courier, with 360 days of cover on the part and the work.
Is anything on the device at risk?
This is hardware work. We do not need to go into your photos, messages or accounts to do it, and we do not.
We do need to switch the device on and use it to test the repair, so we may ask for your passcode. If you would rather not hand it over, tell us and we will show you what we cannot verify without it. Any passcode you give us goes on the paper docket and the docket gets shredded. It is never stored in our system.
Back the device up before any repair. Not because we expect to lose anything, but because a device that has already been dropped is one whose storage has already been shaken, and a backup costs nothing.
Is it still water resistant afterwards?
Treat the device as no longer water resistant after any repair, including this one.
An IP rating is measured on a brand new, factory sealed device in a laboratory. It is a description of how that device left the factory, not a property it keeps. Heat, age and everyday knocks degrade the seal long before anybody opens it, which is why phones that have never been repaired still let water in.
Opening a device means cutting through adhesive. We refit with fresh adhesive, which gives you back a physical seal that keeps rain and splashes out. What we will not do is claim the original rating is restored, because there is no way for us or for any independent shop in Ireland to test that.
If the device lives near water, tell us when you book. It changes what we recommend and it is a two minute conversation rather than a surprise afterwards.
The 360-day warranty
Every completed repair is covered for 360 days on the part and the workmanship. If the display we fitted fails, or the fitting was at fault, we put it right at no charge.
What it does not cover is a new accident. A phone dropped again after the repair, fresh physical damage, liquid damage, or a fault in a part we did not touch, all sit outside it. That is the same limit any honest repair warranty has.
No fix, no fee. The diagnostic is free, and if the repair does not happen you pay nothing.

- Send it in yourselfPost it to the shop with a tracked, insured service and a note with your number. We cannot cover a parcel in transit, and that is the honest trade-off for the route existing.
